From the upper balcony at Babylon, the city unfolds like a quiet revelation. It is here, perched above the layers of stone and water, that one begins to understand the scale of the vision. Monumental yet intimate, timeless yet rooted in the now. The view stretches across the courtyard, past the cascading greens and the dome beyond, capturing the theatre of light, shadow, and texture that plays out below.

This elevated vantage point does more than offer a view. It offers pause. A moment to witness how space, nature, and memory come together to create something immersive and alive. The city breathes differently from above, slower and softer. It’s a reminder that architecture is not just something you walk through, but something you feel.

Beneath the larger sky dome, a smaller dome gently

Beneath the larger sky dome, a smaller dome gently marks the central bar of Babylon, becoming the point where all indoor and outdoor spaces naturally meet. It draws people in, not through scale alone, but through the way it sits quietly within the flow of the courtyard.

Encircled by water, stone, and cascading greens, the bar feels like it belongs to the landscape itself. Light filters through the layers above, vines soften the edges, and the boundary between inside and outside slowly dissolves. More than a place to gather, this space allows people to pause, connect, and experience Babylon as a living city shaped by nature, movement, and shared moments.

You first hear the sound of water cascading in the distance before you see the space it belongs to. At Babylon, water doesn’t just decorate, it defines. A reflective pool cradled by natural rock formations becomes the emotional core of the design, drawing visitors inward. Seating wraps gently around this landscape, inviting quiet engagement with stone, water, and light.

As the architecture rises above in grand, sculptural forms, the experience below remains rooted in intimacy. The softened acoustics, the movement of foliage, and the interplay of texture all come together to create a space of retreat. Babylon is imagined not only as a brewery but as a transportive threshold, a place where architecture and nature come into rhythm, allowing memory, material, and atmosphere to lead the way.

Stillness and movement exist side by side at Babylon. At its quiet core, water becomes the anchor — flowing, glistening, ever-present. Seating is gently carved around its edge, where stone meets pool and light flickers across textured surfaces. Every element, from the cascading waterfall to the layered rocks and trailing greens, has been orchestrated to heighten the senses without overwhelming them.

Above, the architecture expresses itself in bold, monumental strokes, but down here, the experience is grounded and human. It is a space designed to slow the pace, to invite pause and reflection. Babylon is not just a brewery. It is a sensory escape, a place that asks you to forget time and remember feeling. A brief return to something elemental: memory, material, and meaning.

Babylon unfolds as a layered experience, where des

Babylon unfolds as a layered experience, where design becomes a medium to slow down time. From the moment you enter, there is a quiet shift. The bustle of the city fades and is replaced by the sound of water, the texture of stone underfoot, and the filtered light cascading through the canopy above.

At the centre, the reimagined water tank takes the form of a sculptural waterfall, its continuous flow creating a rhythmic counterpoint to the stillness of the landscape. Around it, a courtyard takes shape with terraces, natural rock, and low seating that blur the lines between built and unbuilt. The large domed canopy above, envisioned to be entirely overgrown in time, completes the scene by offering a shaded atmosphere that feels at once intimate and expansive. Babylon becomes more than a destination.

It becomes a moment of immersion, where the sensory and the spatial come together in effortless harmony.

At the heart of Babylon, an ancient water tank is reinterpreted as a cascading waterfall, anchoring the brewery within a carefully crafted landscape. Conceived as an urban oasis in Hyderabad, the space is designed to offer moments of retreat and gathering, where architecture and nature work in quiet continuity.

A central courtyard unfolds around a reflective waterbody, with layered seating, stone textures, and trailing greens heightening the sensory experience. Above, a large dome, envisioned to be entirely cloaked in vegetation, envelops the courtyard, filtering light and creating a shaded, immersive environment that draws people together beneath water, landscape, and structure.
