There’s a certain choreography to how you move through Niloufer.

The first floor doesn’t just begin — it’s introduced. A terracotta screen, bold in scale and rhythm, sets the scene. Behind it, the concierge desk and waiting area feel more like a hotel lobby than a cafe — quietly elevating expectations.

Then comes the passage — long, warm, deliberate. Clad entirely in terracotta, it’s not just a connector but a moment of immersion, where light, shadow, and texture play across every surface.

And at the end of this pathway: a private dining room that feels cocooned from the city. Raised gently, framed in woven screens, and bathed in filtered light — it offers a sense of calm that’s hard to come by in a space this active.

Here, transitions are not just functional — they’re atmospheric. Every turn draws you deeper into a layered, thoughtful hospitality experience.

In the quiet details, the soul of Niloufer Cafe truly comes alive.

From the woven wicker canopy that gently defines private corners, to the sculptural lights that wrap around columns like ribbons of warmth — every element was handpicked, prototyped, and crafted to evoke feeling. The booths invite lingering, the chairs balance ergonomics with elegance, and the lights do more than illuminate — they anchor the mood.

Each piece of furniture was sourced and customised in collaboration with Colosseum India, ensuring that textures, tones, and silhouettes spoke the same language as the space itself — one of warmth, ease, and refined comfort.

Because in a cafe built on memories, it’s the details that stay with you long after the last cup of tea.

The ground floor seating at Niloufer Cafe sets the tone for what the new flagship truly represents — comfort reimagined through craft. Wrapped in natural wood and warm tones, this level brings the easy familiarity of a street-side chai adda into a refined, contemporary setting.

It’s a space designed for movement and memory, morning coffee rushes, quiet solo lunches, spontaneous conversations. And through it all, the layered material palette holds everything together: custom marble inlays underfoot, dramatic lighting that sets an organic, grounded mood, and gentle wood finishes that soften the buzz of the crowd.

There’s a sense of pause here — not just in the tea, but in the way the space makes you feel seen, unhurried, at ease.

Because that’s what Niloufer has always been about. Not just serving tea, but serving comfort.
